Sean Rudd (pictured centre) who has just been signed from
Oxford Saints will have to go to a tribunal to settle a fee for the
promising defender who was also being tracked by Everton, Manchester
City and Blackburn.
Dutton-Black is another Oxford boy but he had not been signed up by
United - and Saints nipped in before they did so.
A quick winger,
he came here on trial towards the end of last season and impressed sufficiently
to be handed a scholarship.
James is a central midfielder who has already played a full game for
the Reserves, shining in a 2-0 win against Ipswich
Lallana, from Bournemouth, is a creative and goalscoring midfielder
with a good footballing brain.
And Bristol boy
Dyer is a small but strong winger with blistering pace who has also
had a brief run-out for the Reserves.

Essentially, there are training facilities in place for children of nine years and older. The Academy is set
up to provide well rounded coaching as well as the capacity to harness individual talent. There is also an Inter
Academy fixture list to participate in. In all the academy operates nine separate teams.
Full time scholars are selected at sixteen for a three year programme. They receive further coaching,
accommodation and take part in the FA Premier Academy leagues. There are two competitions; the under
17s and the under 19s.
