Club Badge
|
 |
The club's badge was designed by Roland Paris who
won the competition set up by the club. It was the first badge to
be worn on Southampton shirts and made its debut on 17/8/1974.
The halo represents the Saints. The ball represents the game while
the scarf is for the supporters. The tree indicates the clubs
location near the New Forest as well as to a Dell being a small wooded
hollow. The water shows the club's proximity to the sea as well as
the twin tides. Finally, the rose is for the county of Hampshire |
